Siemens Brothers Neophone & Post Office Telephone No. 162

The Siemens Brothers Neophone and Post Office  Telephone No. 162  by Laurence Rudolf.

In 1924 with the advent of new materials and technology Siemens Brothers commenced research on a new type of telephone. In co-operation with the British Post Office they returned to the advantages of a hand combination set, named the “Neophone,” “Neo” being derived from the Greek word “Neos,” meaning new.
