The THG is not alone, there are many more 'friendly societies' out there on the web who are keen to share their research with others. Here are just a selection of OTSs...

Antique Telephone Collectors Association (ATCA)
The Antique Telephone Collectors Association, or ATCA, is the largest telephone collectors organization in the world. Chartered in 1971 as a non-profit corporation by the state of Kansas, its over 1500 active members are located throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. The office is located in the Museum of Independent Telephony, Abilene, KS.

Australasian Telephone Collectors Society (ATCS)

ATCS was founded in 1977 by a group of people in New South Wales who were interested in telephone collecting and decided that they should get together to form a ‘club’. The purpose of this ‘club’ was mainly to facilitate the acquisition of phones amongst those involved. The society grew from there. The ATCS web site gives details of restoration hints, annual show details and an extensive links page to related sites around the web.

How you can help........

The THG needs your memories and observations of working practices, past and present. Today's seemingly ordinary mundane process is tomorrow's fascinating history.

You can help by submitting articles to help grow the THG home site or by producing your own individual speciality site to which we can link. But, please check first, before posting articles or linking to the THG, otherwise you might overwhelm us with information !

Please tell us if you find any links that don't work or are out of date.
